I've been having repeated issues with both billing and service with TWC and am thinking about switching to U-Verse, but I don't want to cancel my IntelligentHome Security. I've been told conflicting information from TWC and AT&T and was hoping someone could clear this up for me.
AT&T says that they have installed internet service for people with the IntelligentHome security system without issues or complaints, but TWC says that I have to have the TWC cable internet in order to use the IntelligentHome security.

Currently, all IntelligentHome customers must have Internet service with Time Warner Cable.
