Can we skip, not block, channels?

Can you add a feature to allow us to set channels to skip when using the up/down channel buttons on the remote.  My old TV has this functionality built into it, and so did our old TV provider.

If this feature is currently available, it is well hidden and the people on the support chat know nothing about it.

Put channels you want in the favorite list....and use it.

TWC wants you to see all the channels you don't get so maybe you'll subscribe to them... It's a simple marketing trick

Good afternoon!

You can set up a list of favorites, you can even see just the channels to which you subscribe. You would want to hit the guide button 2x and then select the type of filter you want to use. You can even sort to just show On Demand channels if that is what you are currently looking for.

To add or delete channels from your Favorite Channels lists:

  1. Press Settings button on the remote
  2. Navigate to Favorite Channels on the bottom of screen
  3. Select Set up Favorites
  4. The channel selector screen will appear with a list of channels. Channels with a star icon are selected as favorites for the current favorites list. Highlight a channel with a star icon and press OK/Select on your remote to remove it from your favorites list. Or, highlight a channel without a star icon and press OK/Select on your remote to add it to your favorites list.
  5. When finished, press the red button to save.

Thank you for participating in the Forums.
Have a good rest of the day!

Pressing the Guide button twice turns the guide on, then off.  Also, all the channels in the guide show as Unavailable.

When you hit the guide button 2x it needs to be fairly rapidly. You should be provided with options for how you wish to view the guide, Favorites,  On Demand etc.

If your guide is not showing the data for the shows you may need to unplug the box for about 1 minute and then plug it back in for a reboot. If this still does not work please do get a hold of support to look into the issue. There may be an area issue, we can check on that for you.

Thank you!  That did exactly what I wanted.  You should share that information with the people who staff the Support Chat.  At least the person I got did not know about it.
