Signal issues

I have signal issues every week. I've had this issues ever since Time Warner was the provider. I never see a credit from you all for not having service and having to spend all this time trying to correct these issues but, if my payment is late you always charge me late fees. Do you think thisis fair? You are a major company with bad business skills.

Hi Randal,

Signal issues would require a service call to Spectrum.  This would begin by doing a signal and drop line test.  The main drop line is the first thing to be examined for corrosion, animal chews and ingress (static noise) on the line.  You may also have inside the home wiring issues that need to be updated.  A new or swapped cable box will never solve bad signal issues.

When you set up that service call, avoid resetting your boxes, modems, or routers for at least six hours.  Doing so will reset the error codes and the tech needs to take a reading of those signal levels.

Signal level tests and the repairing of the wiring will improve all of your services that you have from Spectrum.  Call Spectrum to set up the signal and drop line check, and remember, don't reboot anything for six hours before your appointment,  You can also mention to the tech the worst most pixilated stations when the tech is there.  It should be easy to get this fixed.

Re: Signal issues

Same here - and no contact options just that idiotic virtual nonsense. No phone numbers. No email address. No live chat. Not even a fax number. PATHETIC.  I never had trouble with Dish for TV and Verizon for the internet. Everyday, either no picture, no sound or both. I'm giving this another 30 days and then back to my former providers.

Another irritation: Spectrum TW blocks all my access to other content. I've had Amazon Prime for almost 8 years and though the content isn't the newest, at least there was something when the TV programming was boring. I'll be d***d if I am going to buy a dongle or some other gadget and pay another subscription fee.  BTW, ditto for my son's online gaming. With Dish, no problem. With Spectrum TW, no access to the Microsoft servers on the XBOX. NEVER DISCLOSED by Spectrum prior to the service. In fact, I asked and was told by the Rep that it would be fine. A bunch of liars. They should run for Congress. Fit right in.

@TXBruiser If you are not able to reach certain sites or servers that is a service issue, NOT

a purposeful block. We do NOT block content or websites from our customers.

We are happy to look into this. We do have a number of ways to be contacted.
