USB Storage Disabled

Why lease a modem to your customers with option that don't work.  Then you have support of the option telling you how to get it connected, when that option is not an option at all.   Why have a Custom GUI and have that option to select?  Get rid of it so your customers don't waste their time trying to get something to work when its in fact disable.

OK, everybody lurking on the Home Networking forum gets it.  You want to vent about SOMETHING you don't like.  It might be related to USB storage, though most modems rented by Spectrum don't offer that feature at all.  And in return here's something the volunteers who staff this forum don't like either: A complete lack of information coming from you that would allow us to help you get your undefined issue resolved.  The best move would be for all of us to rewind and start over.

Please provide your ZIP Code, the make and model of the modem you are renting, the speeds of Spectrum internet service to which you subscribe, and a description of this "USB Storage"feature you believe is missing or malfunctioning in your modem.  It may help to also include make and model of the network router if you personally own it.
