Spectrum is removing channels permanently from the Digital Adapters

Spectrum is removing channels permanently from the Digital Adapters without warning in the greater Austin Tx area.  I just lost the Velocity channel on 4 small TVs but it is still available on the larger DVR connected TVs.   Spectrum service tells me that more channels will be removed as time goes on and the only solution is to rent more DVRs -  I am not happy!!   It's time to start looking at other options including cutting the cable entirely and using some of the newer online TV services.

When you write they are removed, do you mean that the dta displays that they are no longer part of your subscription? Or are they just not showing up?

Maybe Velocity has been moved to a tier that the dta cannot tune.

Spectrum is not supporting the one way devices like DTA's and Tivo/ Ceton boxes that aren't connected to a TA (which makes them into a 2 way device since the TA is a modem...

You don't need to rent DVR's but will need to rent the cheapie 2 way set top cable boxes...

DTA's were only available to TWC legacy customers .
