I am also frustrated with my box/DVR. After Spectrum merged with Time Warner, they downgraded my DVR box. I used to be able to record 2 shows and watch live, now they only have the option of recording one. It seems like service and products should only improve when a merger happens. Spectrum, take note.
Just an update, still stuck with this old outdated technology and not a single employee seems to be able to help. I think it might be time to cut the cord. Neighbor seems to be very statisfied with verizon fios and streaming providers hulu, netflix etc. and is paying significantly less then $200 a month.
