Hide channels using a Digital Adapter

How fo I hide channels on a Digital Adapter?  I don't mean Parental Control.

If you referring to the slightly larger than a deck of cards sized DTAs used when an area goes fully encrypted,  I don't think there is a way to do it on those.

I agree that it's probably not possible to completely mask a channel appearance while viewing through a DTA box.  You would need to rent a fully featured settop converter or DVR from Spectrum at the current monthly service charge.  But IMHO, there's little if any video program content being offered in the basic-only tier that would be profoundly offensive anyhow.  (Not considering lyrics on some of the music-only channels!)

What was the solution? Were you able to find a way to do it or there isn't a way to do it?

There is no way to hide or mask channels through the DTA.

 

For that you do have to have a set top box.
