January 1 Changes?

As of January 1 messages received show senders email address in From field instead of name in address book.  When using Reply the original message no longer appears and the To field's blank and has to be filled in manually.  When I save a Draft and go back to it all fields are blank.  I tried a Chat session yesterday and got a rep whose English wasn't good.  He told me "We would like bring to your notice of imminent emails outage.  Current status is normalizing in progress."

Does anyone know what's going on?
