loosing connection when I plug ethernet cable in specific ports

Hi, I have a TWC modem/router combo: Ubee MTA DVW32CB.

With ethernet cables connected to two ports (ETH1 and ETH2), both my wired and wireless connections work fine. When I connect an ethernet cable to one of the other ports (ETH3 or ETH4), I lose both my wired and wireless internet and don't get it back until I remove the cable from either. Anyone knows what's going on? thanks
