SB6141- Lost MDD Timeout; DS Partial Service Fallback: MDD Lost-> CM in DOCSIS 3.0 Recovery Mode ;

Family members started complaining of Netflix buffering and freezing. This has been a fairly regular occurence. I checked the logs on the SB 6141, and sure enough the Lost MDD errors were there. I also noticed that instead of 8 downstream channels ,I had only 6 and the channel IDs  were not sequential- 9, 11, 15, 18, 25, 32 .  After the reboot, I was back to 8 down stream channels  9- 16.

Running a Speedtest.net  befor the reboot yielded  only 800 Kb/s down, up was about 24 Mb/s.  We pay for Ultimate 200 service. Rebooted cable modem via disconnect and reconnect of power and I am back to 55 Mb/s.
I am looking for some guidance from the experts before I spend more time on  the phone with TWC telling me they do not see a problem or to just reboot the modem. This has gone on for way too long with no resolution.
Thanks

Re: Connectivity Internet

Worthless setup indeed. They are good at taking our money, but when problems arise all we get is crickets.

Dump out of my Arris Modem during TX outage (maybe helpful to Spectrum techs?)

Maybe this can be of service to Spectrum techs trying to restore service to Texas. Here is what the stats page for my modem had while booting up:

And that's it. At this point my modem has the Power, US/DS, and Online lights ON. I am no long able to access the 192.168.100.1 or 192.168.100.1:8080 page unless I power cycle the modem. If I do not plug the coaxial in, I am never locked out of the modem, but of course there's no internet at that point.

Ok I just thought I would tether my laptop to my phone and bring you this data. Maybe it helps. Maybe it's garbage.

Godspeed, dudes.

No connectivity

I do not have internet and have attempted contacting Spectrum 6 times today. Every single time I go through the automated questions and I am getting transferred to a technical support specialist, the call is dropped. Every. Single. Time. I don't know what is more frustrating: the internet being down, the completely frustrating phone system, or the inability to send a written complaint to customer service on the website, outside of this forum. I am seriously upset and considering switching. The people that have helped me in the past are good people and have tries to help, but my account is a mess. I am on my 3rd wireless router; started on theirs, purchased a "better" one and was render unusable due to their setup, and I'm back to another one of theirs. The last one still gives me intermittent issues. I have been loyal to TWC, now spectrum, but they need to get it together. End of rant.

Re: No connectivity

We are having the same issue in 75243. Internet is down, but modem says it is on. Same issue when calling support, after automated system tries to transfer to support person, the call drops. 5 plus attempts, calling different support numbers.

No internet

The internet problems with spectrum need to stop. Have no connection right now zip code 78251.
