Internet and Linksys

Every since the guy came and fixed the tv the internet no longer connects to my linksys box.  At least I could see the connection until I spoke to the Spectrum guy on the phone and now can't even see the connection

If your Linksys is a router only, and you have connected the router's WAN jack to Spectrum's modem using a CAT-5 ethernet cable, we can give you a head start.  That cable must be plugged into LAN port 1 on the modem end.  Next, you must do a "Reset to Factory Defaults" before the router can find the new modem.  Hold the router reset button in for seven to ten seconds so all the router LEDs flash.  This erases the MAC ID of the old modem and lets your router access the new one and pull down all the network parameters.
