I'm getting very high latency at 174.111.124.205 somewhere around Raleigh, NC,   it seems the same at any time of day.   I would guess this hop is maybe 20 miles from me, latency should be consistent with other hops in the area shouldnt it?  I'm told by phone support there is nothing they can do about this.  While it isnt an issue for normal browsing or streaming etc the extra latency is pretty bad for gaming and I would think effects everyone in the area.  Do I have any options to get around this?

@agentx5  or  @Julia_R

Maybe one of you can route this to the proper NC maintenance office?

When I run WinMTR from here [Cleveland OH] the IP shows a device name

cpe-174.111.124.205  triad.res.rr.com  and significant delays.

Re: High latency at 174.111.124.205

Thank you for the reply, so how do I go about contacting someone in maintenance? phone support just reads off a script, checks my speed and says there is nothing they can do about it.

I've already linked my comment to both a Senior forum moderator and a TWC engineering employee.   Let's give them a few days to run it throuigh their organizations internally.  The Spectrum telephone support desk doesn't have a good process for this type of complaint.
