Re: Any update on speed increases for Cleveland, Ohio?

Try having a family of 5 with phones, tablets, 4K tvs, laptops, gaming systems, and connected devices... Netflix recommends 25 Mbps for 4K streaming by the way... gaming lags terribly with low speeds too. Would like to see TWC spectrum actually care for once!

BEEN 13 MONTHS.. WHAT'S UP?

Speeds here are better. always seem to exceed what we pay for. But on Nov 7th, they switched back to Level 3 for the backbone and there has been a bottleneck there as twc refuses to pay for adequate bandwidth and peaks are capped off seriously.

Uverse is worst... here's the fine print on their relationship with DirecTv:

"

*Content varies by package.
**Free Trial: New subscribers only. Cancel before end of trial or DIRECTV Now subscription will automatically renew monthly to your payment method on file. Cancellation: You may cancel at any time and continue accessing the programming through the end of your renewal period. View, modify or cancel anytime at directvnow.com. No refunds or credits for any partial-month periods or unwatched content.

General: Limit 2 concurrent streams per account. Channels, features, and terms subject to change & may be discontinued at any time without notice. Programming subject to blackout restrictions. Taxes may apply."

2 streams means only 2 devices... even if they're on the same channel. We just had a sales rep promide a customer that their 7-10 sets could have DTV now on all of them, and the installer told them "that was a lie"

Re: Any update on speed increases for Cleveland, Ohio?

latest scan count was 54 analog channels and 76 digital channels...  So they're way behind in going all digital in the greater Cleveland area.....  the 76 digital includes 16 modem channels  leaving around 60 qam digital channels for up to8 video feeds each, most of which are encrypted qam. Only the locals were unencrypted qam
