10 days - No internet or service calls

Internet disconnected when technician installing for neighbor. Tech on in-home service call confirmed ours was unplugged on pole. Requires different crew. Every day I call and it's like agent handling call doesn't see notes on previous contact. No confidence in what I'm told. Every day, "it's scheduled between 8am & 11pm". Who is going to enter a private back yard to go up pole after dark??? 10 days later & no idea how to get real information. Suggestion?

Demand a free month of service. 

Whatever tech went up the pole to connect someone else can reconnect yours.

Take photo of the pole tap, post link to it here, let's see if there's an extra port, If not, that may be an issue and you'll get a month free.

Call them and cancel all your services.

Be sure your complaint documentation is complete and in order.  Take names, starting with names of the tech who signed off on your neighbor's installation, the tech for your in-home service call, and the numerous agents scheduling YOUR service restoration visit.  Call the local billing office and service office daily.  Bug the heck out of them!  Send a weekly summary report to the local BBB and copy your state's Public Utilities commission.

Unfortunately, it is ABSOLUTELY ILLEGAL for you to climb up and reconnect your own cable.
