Hi and welcome to Spectrum Community!  Please feel free to post questions about things like TWC/Spectrum products and services, programming, or even your home entertainment systems.  We hope you find these forums to be a valuable resource, and we look forward to your participation. 

 

Before posting, we ask that you please review the following guidelines below—if you have any questions please feel free to post in our Community Suggestion Box, or ask one of our Moderators!!  Thanks!

 

 

 

Forum Guidelines

The Forums are a place to exchange ideas, tips, information and techniques related to TWC/Spectrum. Anyone can search and read the posts but you must register with your TWC ID to participate.

 

By registering you agree to comply with the Forum Guidelines set forth below, and you agree to be bound by our website Terms of use.

 

If you have questions specific to your account, you can also call or chat with us.

 

Please do:

 

Ask questions about TWC/Spectrum, our products or our services. You can ask questions such as “How do I program a DVR?” or "How do I get the most out of my internet service?”    

 

Respond to any topic. We know that sometimes the best answers come from our customers themselves and encourage you to share your knowledge and experience with the rest of the community.

 

Keep it relevant. Staying on topic will help make the forums as useful for as many people as possible.  

 

Keep it friendly. We’ll moderate the forums as needed, but we encourage you to flag any content that you find abusive, offensive or inappropriate by clicking on ‘Report Abuse to Moderator’. 

 

Keep it legal. We prohibit the posting of any material (i) that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property or proprietary right of any third party, (ii) that contains software viruses or any other computer code or files that are designed to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of any software or hardware, (iii) that is deemed to be illegal under any local, state, federal, or international law, or (iv) that encourages criminal conduct. Doing so may result in a loss of posting privileges, and we reserve the right to take legal action as appropriate.

 

Use caution when taking forum advice. You alone are responsible for assessing the credibility of other user postings. Time Warner Cable will not be liable for any damages to equipment or services caused by your reliance on the opinions set forth in the Forums.

 

Please don’t:

 

Reveal personal information. Do not post your own private information, or the confidential or private information of any third party, in the Forums. This includes account numbers, addresses, phone numbers, passwords, credit card numbers or any other personally identifiable information. Report anyone requesting private information to the forum moderators.

 

Post controversial content. This includes anything defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, harassing, threatening, harmful, abusive, inflammatory, discriminatory or otherwise objectionable or injurious to third parties. 

 

Present yourself or pose as someone you are not. 

 

Post spam. Please refrain from promoting third party services, products, websites, or organizations or that would constitute advertising, junk mail, chain letters, or any other form of unauthorized solicitation.

 

Spectrum has no obligation to edit or monitor content posted by participants in the Forums. However, TWC/Spectrum retains the right, in its sole discretion, to do so, and may remove posts that violate the Forum Guidelines set forth above or otherwise are deemed by TWC/Spectrum to be inappropriate, inaccurate, harmful or objectionable.  TWC/Spectrum may deny a user access to the Forums at any time and for any reason, including for any violation of the above guidelines or the website Terms of Use.
