Posting an event on Public Access channel

Is there any way to send an event to be posted on the PA channel other than calling or FAXing? I don't have  a FAX and nobody answers at the number that's scrolled.

Greetings,

Where are you located?  City, State, and zip?  What type of event does it involve?  An idea that I have would be to research the type of event.  For example, if its Education related, and related to your school system contact your School Board Website, Twitter, or Facebook page for information on how to get your event posted to the Public Access Channel.

If it is a local political organization, contact your local City Hall's social media pages/websites (etc.)  The same if it's anything related to school or city government.  Than, when you contact that local municipality, they in turn should be able to get you to the right contact person to post the content on Spectrum's local public access channel.

Their might be a local advertising/media agent at your closest Spectrum office whom you could contact in charge of Media Marketing.  This is why, by providing your state, city, and zip code, our agents here could research this and get you in contact with how to post your content on Spectrum's Public Access channel.  This would seemingly be a totally localized process.

One additional comment:  The cable companies normally do not administer or staff most of the Local Access or Public Access channels found on your cable system.  Typically it is volunteers from community groups or your city, town, or county government agencies , such as a recreation department, school system, council of representatives, etc. who coordinate the provisions of citizen access and produce the video programming that appears on the local access channels.  Each is autonomous and operates in accordance with terms of the original CATV franchise agreement.

Thanks,

Let's see what other forum members may recommend.  You may want to contact the organizer of the event for a plan to promote your garage sale event on Spectrum's public access channel.  What steps should our poster do if he/she is the organizer of the event for advertising on Spectrum public access?
