New Spectrum Guide Link Doesn't Work In Legacy TWC/BHN Markets

Hi Spectrum,

Note that the pinned New Guide FAQ's on the forum only work for legacy Charater- Spectrum areas.  Former TWC/BHN markets who use The New  Guide know as Navigator, should go to THIS link instead:

https://www.timewarnercable.com/en/tv/features/new-guide.html

If you go to the New Guide Link pinned up on this forum, and your area a former TWC/BHN sub, you will be redirected to a Spectrum Support Page, and should visit the link that I posted above this message for help with your guide.

Maybe my message could be pinned with a title change that says something like:

New Guide FAQ for Legacy TWC Customers (with this link in the thread: )

https://www.timewarnercable.com/en/tv/features/new-guide.html

Julia's helpful pinned topic should reflect that this Guide is currently being rolled out to legacy Charter areas only.

The new Guides have different feature sets and functionality.  With a pinned topic for each thread and a clear title for which guide goes with which area, this will avoid confusion,

That clarifies things, So we (TWC customers) have had a "New Guide" for some time now, if I'm reading that right.

As it happens  the Cyclic Reminders/Timers Problem seems to  have been fixed on our existing (TWC)  "New Guide". They seem to be working correctly after a recent  re-boot.

The NEW GUIDE in the first post mentions that it does not offer reminders/timers in it's current version. Go Figure!!!

Right,

There are TWO Guides that can be classified as NEW:

Charter-Spectrum- Is starting to role out a cloud-based guide to selected Charter markets that were always legacy Charter and not TWC/BHN.  It's what Charter started rolling out to markets BEFORE the Charter/ TWC/BHN merger to Spectrum.  Eventually, Spectrum wants to mold Navigator into their cloud-based guide that Julia has provided a pinned link for us.  But legacy TWC/BHN subscribers who just got converted to Spectrum will have the NEW Guide (a.k.a  Navigator) on their qualifying boxes.  (See below.)

TWC/Brighthouse Networks-Spectrum-If you are a former TWC/Brighthouse Networks customer migrated to Spectrum, your new Guide is called "The Guide" or Navigator,  This is also a current cloud-based guide system that was developed back in 2006,  Back than, it was pretty buggy and clunky.  Navigator has improved tremendously over the years to a cloud-based guide developed by TWC/BHN.  Navigator, on modern boxes, has some very modern feature sets, that  some say is even better than Charter's new cloud based guide described above! (These boxes that carry modern Navigator in former TWC/BHN markets are:  Arris, Samsung, Cisco/Technicolor models.)

There is  a watered down version of Navigator for the older SA boxes, In contrast, legacy Charter systems have been using SARA, Passport, Moxi, and I-Guide systems.  Their cloud-based guide is slowly being released.  Some former TWC divisions also use I-Guide on the older boxes.

That's great Pav!

I know that there was a bug in Navigator 8, where the Reminder Timers would sometimes not work.  So it is good that they fixed that.
