Decades deleted

Sad to see Decade disappear on the evening of May 31, 2018.  It was one of the few really worthwhile and interesting channels in the entire line up.   Wish they would delete tons of lousey channels or allow us to pay only for the channels we actually watch.  But backrupcy would probably follow.  Annoyed that another channel bits the dust as in the past.

Hello,

What is your city, state, and zip code?  Decades I think is a sub-channel.  If you could provide your city, state, and zip code, we might be able to determine if it was dropped due to a rate increase or expired contract.

You may also submit a Channel Request Forum, stating that you want the Decades channel restored to your line up here:

Spectrum does offer "Spectrum Choice", which consists of the channels on the StarterTV tier (in your market), plus ten more of your choice (from a list of 65).  There is a forum here on the subject.

Re: Decades deleted

I assume that this was in the Charlotte NC market.

WCNC carries Decades on 36.3 but they added Quest on 36.4 earlier this year. As Quest is owned by TEGNA, the owner of WCNC, they prefer that Spectrum carry that channel.

I also assume that TEGNA's carriage agreement of WCNC only includes carriage of two sub-channels, while Spectrum could easily carry all three.
